Deep thought - Prayer

 During the last 10 months I have felt just about every emotion, but one thing that has been a life saver is prayer. In 1 nefi 18:16 nefi says that he praises God all day in spite of his afflictions. And I feel like often it's easy to get caught in the dumps of the poor me and stuff like that, but the days I turn my heart to my savior in gratitude turn out to be a whole lot better than not doing it! I love that even in our moment of trial we can choose hoy. It's like when you look for yellow cars and are thinking about yellow cars all the sudden there's more yellow cars in the world. It's the same with happiness and or sadness. When we are seeking out the blessing we see the blessing. Likewise when we seek out the sucky crap we find ourselves knee deep in trash

 it just a whole lot better to praise God and seek his hand even if you are surrounded by trash! You can always feel His love and see his blessing! Also dad thank you for your letter!
